People in Aleppo need help, now like never before. What's more, a philanthropy drive in Qatar has quite recently raised millions for this cause.
Five driving philanthropy associations initiated in Doha's Darb El Saai territory in an occasion facilitated by the National Day Organizing Committee. They gathered more than 245 million Qatari riyals ($67.2 million/ 455 crore approx) amid the initial couple of hours of the occasion.
Qatar Charity, Eid Charity, Qatar Red Crescent Society, Sheik Thani canister Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) and Afif Charity met up in support of the cause.
A wide range of gifts were acknowledged, whether money, gems or vehicles.
There were a hundred philanthropy boxes spread over the territory. In the initial six hours, they gathered a huge number of riyals.

The occasion came days after Qatar reported the cancelation of the greater part of its national day festivities and merriments – in solidarity with the emergency in Aleppo.
Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheik Mohammed canister Abdulrahman Al Thani has consistently blamed the Syrian government for carrying out violations against mankind.
In a meeting with Al Jazeera, Thani stressed that regardless of the possibility that the administration takes over Aleppo, the war won't be over.
