Abd al-Rahman al-Sufi was a Persian cosmologist/astronomer born on Dec. 7 in 903 A.D., and Google celebrate his enormous accomplishments with a Doodle on his birthday.

He would have been 1113-years of age today.
Sufi was born in Rey in current Iran .Truly he is known as Azophi and Azophi Arabus in the west .He interpreted numerous Greek cosmic compositions into Persian and Arabic.

There were conventional Arabic and Greek names for stars and heavenly bodies. These regularly covered or repudiated each other in confounding ways. A lot of his work was to bring together the distinctive frameworks.
