In the name of "Gau Raksha" an another "act of terrorism" has been recorded. Some people who claimed to be self appoint gau rakshak pursued after a vehicle suspecting cow smugglers.They trashed up people inside the car but to their embarrassment, they discovered just a jackass (donkey).
As per Hindustan Times, police have documented a report of crime against attackers over the Sunday night incident in Barmer region, 200 kms from Jodhpur, and were on search for the escaped Gau Rakshaks.
Everything start when Devichand Dhaka, an inhabitant of Sayla town in close-by Jalore locale had filed a complaint expressing that his jackass had gone missed on September 2, said the SHO at Sindhary police headquarters.
Kantilal Bheel, the victim of Gau Rakshaks, found the jackass at the bus stop at Kaludi village in Sindhary territory. Bheel told the police that he stacked the jackass in his SUV with the help of his companions to hand it over to Devichand Dhaka.
Kantilal and his companions began moving towards their vilage, yet the few people who were standing at the bus stand chased them in suspicion of cow smuggling and stopped them at a isolated place close Bhuka Bhagat Singh village. They hauled out Bheel and his companions out of the vehicle and trashed them up brutally .
"They (accused) had suspected cow smuggling, but what they found in the SUV was jackass(donkey) afterwards they got away," Bheel told the police.
So called protectors of Dairy animals and their attacks has increased in Rajasthan in last few years, a dairy farmer, Pehlu Khan was lynched by gau rakshaks for transporting cows at Alwar in April this year.
