
A 11-year old young girl was purportedly gang raped at gunpoint at her accommodation in Gwalior in presence of her mom and her teenage sibling, the police said on 3 September.
As indicated by the police, three men were captured on the evening of 2 September regarding the incidente that occurred in Wednesday (30 August).
Gwalior's Bijoli Police Station in-control Raghuvir Meena told PTI on 3 September via telephone.
"The young girl was at home with her mom and sibling when three men raged into their home around 1 am on Wednesday. While two denounced debilitated to shoot her mom and her 14-year old sibling, the third one raped the girl,"
The rapist was identified as Jhanwar Singh Kushwaha (36), while two other people who helped him in the wrongdoing were Raju Kushwaha (25) and Ramniwas Kushwah (24).
"The trio was captured the previous evening (2 September) and further interrogations are in progress," he included.
The accused were booked under various sections of IPC, including 376 D (gangrape), 450 (house-trespass keeping in mind the end goal to perpetrate offense), 506 (criminal terrorizing), 34 (acts done by a few people infurtherance of common intention) and applicable segments of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO).
